The President has spoken, the curfew has arrived! No more aperitifs, no more meals with friends and no more walks at night… We are just as sad as you are about the arrival of this curfew but don’t panic, Marypop is always there to give you the good tips. We have made, especially for our new night prisoners, a selection of activities to do as a couple, with friends while the children are looked after by a Marypop baby-sitter! So get out the jackets, put on your best shoes. Because you won’t be able to say there’s nothing to do at the moment. Find out what you can do while your children are looked after by a baby-sitter during the curfew in Paris.
Cinema is not dead!
And yes, the 7th art is always in order. And even though we know that at the moment you prefer to stay at home so you don’t take any risks (and stay on the couch in front of Netflix), the cinemas are always open and offer you an experience you won’t find elsewhere.
Authors’ cinemas in Paris
If you can’t stand the multiplexes that pass all the block buster with Vin Diesel, this selection is for you. Indeed, Paris abounds in cinemas, each one more fantastic than the next, between auteur films or simply in their architecture, each of these cinemas has its own particularity.
Les écrans de paris
Les écrans de Paris, today called Dulac cinema is a set of 5 independent cinemas, with 13 screens and 2300 seats. The objective of these cinemas is to offer films by authors or more current films, while keeping a demanding selection in order to satisfy a large audience. We let you watch the programming on their website.
La filmothèque
In the heart of the esudiantin district of the Sarbonne, La filmothèque is a complex that will offer you a unique experience. Between restored re-releases of classics or retrospectives and festivals, the choice is wide and cinema lovers are numerous. And if you think that the equipment is as old as the films that the cinemas show, think again because the film library is one of the few cinemas capable of showing films in 4K. So we respect it!
And why not an exhibition?
Always staying in the field of culture, Marypop also offers educational and playful outings to Parisian exhibitions.
